"Melancholic stray cat pop” - that is how indie-pop artist and Hamburg native Anna Wydra describes her music. This term originates from her time as a busker; roaming around cities, making friends with strangers - all in the manner of a stray cat.

With charm and wit but never a lack of emotion she deals with tough topics like mental health, awkward dating experiences, unconventional relationship types, jealousy or the transience of our existence. Her lyrics are as honest and blunt as if quoted directly from a diary.

After releasing two solo eps "In a room in space" and "The Tidal Flow", which were written during her time as a street musician, her debut album "The Absurdity of Being" was recently released via La Pochette Surprise Records.
